Built in the 1920s and lovingly restored, it trades the city's noise and traffic for pavilions, fountains, lawns and quiet corners to read or doze in.

What to expect

Inside the gates you will find symmetrical lawns and ponds, elegant pavilions, fountains and shaded benches, all arranged around a sunken garden. The on-site Kaiser Cafe serves coffee and meals on a terrace overlooking the greenery — making it easy to linger for an hour or more.
